The McDonald's McRib is back, and the questions are rolling in. After  a viral video depicting an unappealing image of a frozen McRib hit social media channels, a PR disaster ensued. One particular tweet, claiming the brand used a similar ingredient in the McRib that is used to make yoga mats, went viral  and McDonald's went on the defensive, releasing a news release specifying the McRib, "is made using only real, quality ingredients including 100% real pork." Now McDonald's is taking a more proactive approach. In the last few days, the fast food chain released a series of three videos on its YouTube channel that answers consumer-submitted questions about the McRib. The first features Grant Imahara of the TV show Mythbusters visiting a pork supplier. Another features a McDonald's archivist who explains to viewers were the McRib comes from and the third explains why the McRib is a limited-time offer. This is just the beginning of the brand's video webisode series entitled "Our Food. Your Questions." Be sure to look out more videos answering questions about Chicken McNuggets and another on those famous McDonald's french fries.
