Daphne Oz Whips Up Original Creation for Just Salad

The nutrition author and television personality helped create the Golden Glow Salad.

Nutrition author and television personality Daphne Oz and Just Salad have partnered to create the Golden Glow Salad, according to a Fast Casual report.

The salad, which includes hemp hearts, chickpeas and pickled red onions, will be available at all Just Salad U.S. locations through October 5.

Oz was a co-host on the cooking talk show “The Chew” and currently serves as one of the judges on the Food Network show “Cooks vs. Cons.”

"Our Culinary Development team worked closely with Daphne to create the most flavorful, nutritious salad that's built to boost stamina, hydration, and energy," Just Salad director of marketing Stephen Swartz said in a press release, according to the article.

Celebrity and franchise partnerships, even if they’re just for limited time offers, can make a huge impact on franchise sales. A celebrity with a huge social media following, for example, can spread some major awareness for a brand.

“It's not uncommon to get pricing back for one Instagram post for $25,000.00 when looking at potential options,” Veronique Conus of IZEA told 1851 Franchise in an interview earlier this year.

Brands may even turn a temporary relationship into a more permanent one, which was the case when Dog Haus formalized its relationship with celebrity chef Ilan Hall in May 2018.
