ecomaids Sets Record Revenue Growth in 2021

A flexible business model allowed the cleaning brand to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic with unprecedented financial success.

The brand began franchising in the middle of 2020. Dellasega said that each franchisee has seen 30% month-over-month growth, and the brand experienced 90% growth in revenue from Q1 to Q2 alone. 

Innovating the business model required unique decision making in the past year, which developed the brand to once unattainable heights. ecomaids put an emphasis on speeding up its processing and communication and developed an understanding that some provisions were not going to be permanent in the long run. This has allowed the brand to remain flexible,and makes it a desirable option for prospective franchisees seeking an adaptive business model.

Dellasega said she is excited about how the brand has developed since it was founded, and the belief there is a buy-in from eco-friendly, health-conscious consumers and franchisees. “The readiness of that demand is spreading nationwide, and it makes it exciting to join the brand at this level,” she said.

“We had so many calls for services we had to catch up to demand,” she added. “Labor has been tight this year in several industries, but we’ve been able to rebound pretty robustly.”

The brand has further established its presence under the Happinest umbrella, a parent company that has helped ecomaids attain a notable market presence. “We’re able to stay ahead of the ever-changing landscape with this partnership, and we’ve been able to pinpoint how to stay ahead with a strong marketing presence,” Dellasega said. “The environmentally friendly component is really a big thing that people are hitting out hard,” Cochrane added. “That's one of the things that was hard for me to find in any other franchise.”

The brand is focused on leading new franchises through their first year and helping them acquire enough sales to reach profitable margins in a quick time frame.
