Famous Toastery Preps for Wrightsville Beach, N.C., Opening

The better breakfast brand continues aggressive East Coast expansion.

Famous Toastery is bringing breakfast to the beach.
 
Charlotte residents Diane and Joe Klobier are opening the brand's first Famous Toastery in the Wrightsville Beach, N.C., area. Replacing the former Havana’s Restaurant located at 6722 Wrightsville Ave., the couple looks to provide an ideal option for local residents looking for a quality breakfast or brunch option.
 
The Klobiers recognized breakfast restaurants are limited in the city, so the couple seized the opportunity to break into an untapped market with a business they knew locals would appreciate.
 
"I had eaten in the one in Charlotte on several occasions," Diane told the Port City Daily. "I don’t have to tell you that breakfast is something that is sought after and I noticed that many people wait in line for it around here."
 
The Charlotte-based chain offers a number of unique menu items and serves breakfast all day, making the broad menu an enticing option for new customers.
 
"We have a relatively extensive menu…It’s an accessible menu, I think," Diane said.
The couple is currently in the renovation process with hopes of opening in December, and are looking to add between 25 to 35 jobs to the local economy.
