Fast Casual: Cafe Yumm signs 3-unit deal for Boise

The deal marks the brand's first multi-unit franchise agreement.

Cafe Yumm will be expanding into Idaho with the help of a husband and wife team. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, this franchise agreement is particularly significant because it will mark the company's first launch within the state and serve as its first multi-unit agreement.

"This multi-unit agreement represents the beginning of a new growth phase for Cafe Yumm. While I am delighted multi-unit operators are talking to us about how to bring Cafe Yumm to other areas, we would not be where we are today without our early single-unit franchisees — most of whom have opened second units," said president and co-founder Mark Beauchamp.

Cafe Yumm currently has 22 existing units. All but two locations are owned by franchisees. The brand hopes to expand across America in the coming years with an initial focus on growth in Oregon and Washington.

The brand stands out due to its dedication to using sustainable ingredients. Cafe Yumm seeks to provide options for a diverse range of food preferences ranging from vegetarians to meat connoisseurs.
