Fast Casual Chain O'Charley's Closes 8 Stores in One Weekend

The brand has closed at least 20 stores since 2016, with one other closure happening earlier this year.

According to Nation’s Restaurant News, O’Charley's has seen its numbers drop significantly from 213 units in 2016. Among the units shuttered were stores in Indianapolis, IN and Tucker, GA.

A company spokesperson confirmed the weekend closures but did not give a reason. American Blue Ribbon Holdings LLC, O’Charley’s parent company, is also affiliated with Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub, Village Inn and Bakers Square brands.

The brand’s overall system wide sales in 2018 were down to $469.2 million in fiscal 2018 from $498.1 in 2017. It is not yet known if the brand is planning any more mass closures.
