Research conducted by Harris Poll on behalf of Subway Restaurants found that Millennials eat more veggies than any other generation, according to Fast Casual.

While the average American eats 2.3 servings of vegetables per day, Millennials eat 2.7. According to Millennials, much of this has to do with appearance, as 45 percent said they eat more veggies to lose weight.

The most popular veggies were lettuce and tomatoes, however, Millennials were also found to be less concerned with eating traditional vegetable than older generations.

Franchise brands could differentiate themselves among Millennials by offering a wide array of vegetables to appeal to the health-conscious group.
