Fast Casual: NBA Star Kris Humphries Partners with Crisp & Greens

The former pro athlete and veteran franchise owner is embracing a healthier option.

Crisp & Green has announced a new franchise partnership with NBA star Kris Humphries, according to an article on fastcasual.com

Humphries, who started his NBA career with the Utah Jazz and most recently played for the Atlanta Hawks, is opening the brand’s first franchise location in his home state of Minnesota.

Crisp & Green is a Minnesota-based chain that prides itself on offering healthy and convenient eating options. The new location will be in Dinkytown, a commercial district within Minneapolis’ Marcy-Holmes neighborhood.

Humphries, who played basketball at the University of Minnesota before heading to the NBA, already owns a franchise with Five Guys.

Working with Crisp & Green represented an opportunity for the Gopher alum to get involved in a healthier dining enterprise.

"I have been looking for an opportunity in the healthy fast casual space for a few years, and nothing compares to the overall opportunity that Crisp & Green offers,” Humphries said in a statement.
