Fast Casual: Tropical Smoothie Cafe enjoys growth, success in first half of 2018

The brand saw positive same-store sales growth, an increase in franchise agreements and nearly 50 new openings during this time period.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe has reported positive results from both Q1 and Q2. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the brand was able to expand by 47 new locations throughout the first half of the year. In addition, a total of 119 franchise agreements were signed throughout the time period.
 
Same-store sales have also continued to grow in 2018. The brand has reported that this percentage has increased by nearly seven percent.

"From new cafe openings, strong same-store sales, to record-breaking donation efforts for Camp Sunshine, along with our continued focus on innovation, we are determined to make this year the biggest and best to date," said chief development officer, Charles Watson.
