Ursula Lane, Sr. Manager of Franchise Recruitment for Checkers* & Rally's: Checkers & Rally’s franchise development website is a critical component of our franchise marketing plan. Although it is one of our most successful channels, we believe that constant improvements are needed to stay relevant and effective.
1851: What would you change on your franchise development website?
Lane: While our current website is a very successful platform, we plan to enhance our website with more timely, engaging videos and better navigation.
1851: Is your site performing better or the same as last year and why?
Lane: The current website is performing on par with previous years’ performance.
1851: How is your budget shifting to include digital?
Lane: Digital has been a strategic component of our integrated marketing approach for several years.
1851: Do you expect to change your website in the next year and why?
Lane: Yes. Although the current website is not broken, we need to stay current and “fresh” while maintaining the brand’s essence and keeping those elements that resonate with our target audience.
