Bisnow recently reported that Footprints Floors has pivoted its business operations to help set franchisees up for client and worker success in the middle of a pandemic. On March 23rd, the brand implemented free virtual estimates on new projects in order to respect customers’ personal space during this time and limit unnecessary human interaction.

“The customers who will benefit most are those who have always considered in-person estimates inconvenient due to their distance from a franchise location or other situations that make on-site work a burden,” Fabio Simoes of Footprints Floors Southlake said.

All the customer has to do is submit a request online or over the phone, schedule a time, and have a measuring tape and a smart device that connects to FaceTime, Google Duo or Skype. Footprints Floors will then consult and lead the estimate, advise the customer on how to properly measure their floors and send an estimate once completed.

“We’ve had a huge response from customers,” CEO Bryan Park said. “I have been surprised. I think there is a certain level of ‘we are all in this together’ even with customers. They see a company like us trying to keep our crews and our technicians busy and feeding their families and they respond.”

Founded in 2008 amid The Great Recession, Footprints Floors has mastered long-term success in uncertain times. Thanks to the flooring company’s evolving process, franchisees are prepared to serve others more now than ever.
