Like many in the job force, Jeremy Wasinger found himself at a crossroads career-wise after the COVID pandemic. The Denver native had spent several years in ministry and secular work, as well as worked in IT and supply chain logistics. When he hit a point of needing change, he looked to Bryan Park, CEO of Footprints Floors franchise, who Wasinger knew from local volunteer work.

Wasinger did not know too much about the business, a fast-growing concept with over 150 territories served, but he admired what he knew of Park as a person.

Bryan and I met through Joyful Light, a non-profit Christian theater organization in which both of our kids participate.  Through serving together in this organization, we developed a close bond.  “As Christians, we believe that Footprints Floors is a gift,” said Wasinger. “The Bible says that every good and perfect gift is from above, and we look at this as a gift to be stewarded; it doesn't belong to us.”

Wasinger joined the franchise in June as director of communications. The position has been a great fit for a “highly relational” person like himself.

“I love the camaraderie of it — working not only at the corporate level but also with franchisees. We have daily group chats, and I see a real bond with the owners. They're all willing to help one another,’ Wasinger explained. “I see genuine care and concern within this brand.”

In the months since starting his role, Wasinger has been busy working with Footprints Floors’ marketing, advertising and SEO partners, as well as doing tech support with franchisees.

He ensures everyone has the brandings and graphics to market in their local areas and distributes internal communications to the company’s strategic partners.

Being new to the flooring world, Wasinger said he’s been surprised by how lucrative the business is.

“I had no idea how successful people could be doing something as common as flooring. As I've jumped in and seen the numbers, I'm just amazed at how profitable these owners can be within a short period of time,” said Wasinger. “Most of the franchisees have been operating for under three years, and they're already doing phenomenal jobs regarding revenue. It's been stunning to me.”

The startup costs for a Footprints Floors franchise range from $78,505 to $113,030, including a franchise fee of $69,480 for a single territory. To learn more about franchising with Footprints Floors, visit https://footprintsfranchise.com/.

ABOUT FOOTPRINTS FLOORS:

Upon his return to Littleton, Colorado, after serving in the U.S. Air Force, Bryan Park noticed that Denver’s flooring industry lacked a higher level of customer service and sophistication. So, in 2008, he founded Footprints Floors, which today specializes in installing hardwood floors, carpet, tile floors, backsplashes and laminates. With more than 50 current locations, Footprints Floors offers franchisees a robust support system, including a call center, flexible hours for work-life balance and a low cost of entry with outstanding economics.
