Main Street Nashville: Footprints Floors’ Nashville Franchise Not Feeling the Pinch of the Lumber Shortage

Despite the shortage of lumber, Footprints Floors of Nashville has been thriving.

In a recent interview with Main Street Nashville, Josh Byrd, a Footprints Floors franchisee, discussed how his business is booming despite the shortage of lumber. Due to the economic impact of COVID-19, many companies have been struggling financially. However, this is not the case for Josh Byrd. He has led his Nashville Footprints Floors franchise to the top by exceeding financial goals for the business and developing a business model that helps his customers avoid markups on different materials. 

Most of Byrd’s business comes from the demand for tile floors due to all of the Nashville floods. Byrd said, “about 25% of our business comes from tile, which is more than what we expected.”

Footprints Floors currently has more than 50 locations.
