Forbes: UberEats Passes 46,000 Restaurants As It Tries To Catch Up Globally
UberEATS continues to grow as it looks to edge out the competition from other food delivery startups.
Uber has finally turned its food delivery app into a major player.
UberEATS announced Tuesday that it passed 46,100 restaurants, more than double than what was on its platform in October 2016. When the app launched in February 2016, it had about 900 restaurants.
UberEATS is looking to explain globally as well. It’s available in 71 cities in 24 countries and is looking to launch in South Korea and India soon.
The app just added some upgrades including tailored restaurant recommendations, custom delivery details and tracking the order.
