ReUp Living (ReUp) is a pre-listing solution for homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents that increases a home’s value by remodeling it with no risk or upfront costs before selling. Founded in 2021, ReUp has set out to transform the real estate process by updating tired homes with turnkey home improvements that require no upfront costs.

ReUp takes care of all financing, sourcing, project management, and communication, while only using licensed and insured general contractors on all projects. ReUp, the property technology company that helps everyday people outsmart the housing market with an innovative remodeling system that produces exceptional returns for sellers and franchisees, is ramping up growth through franchising as it continues to disrupt residential real estate transactions.

Its suite of services also includes an enterprise platform, certification program and innovative revenue-sharing plan for its franchise partners.

ReUp was established in 2021 by founders Ryan SawchukAndrew MitchellJustin Mattas and Alex Kassem, and soon began offering franchise opportunities. By 2022, the brand had onboarded its first three franchisees in Texas as well as Las Vegas.

How Many ReUp Living Locations Are There?

As of March 2024, ReUp Living has a total of 12 open locations including two corporate locations in Austin and Dallas, TX,  in addition to one area representative agreement in the Western U.S. Additionally, the brand has several franchise and area representative agreements in its development pipeline as territories are selling out fast.

What Is ReUp Living’s Business Model?

ReUp Living targets a diverse clientbase: Homeowners looking to sell, buyers looking for their dream home, and sharp franchisees seeking lucrative opportunities all stand to gain by leveraging ReUp’s technology and services.

Its business model is focused on partnering with home sellers to remodel and increase the value of their home before they list it on the market. In an interview with 1851 Franchise, ReUp  President of Franchise Development Andrew Mitchell said the brand combines “all aspects of the home renovation process into a seamless offering for homeowners with no out-of-pocket costs.”

ReUp fronts all the renovation costs and manages everything from the remodel itself to the contractors, budget and materials, and then splits the profit it created with the homeowner at closing time.

For prospective franchisees, Mitchell described ReUp as being a “very involved franchisor,” that takes care of everything from the underwriting on the back-end, all sourcing of the capital, and all of the major business operations, so that franchisees can be “solely focused on their sales pipeline, generating leads, and focused on creating great customer experiences.”

The ideal franchise candidate should have a hustle mentality, be resourceful, have sales acumen and a true understanding of technology. ReUp Living seeks franchisees who understand the ROI of property transactions — and who are aligned with the company's vision of transforming the real estate sector through tech and strategy.
