Bringing a new, exciting take on Elite Window Cleaning, the eight-unit Canadian window cleaning franchise, Sparkle Squad is breaking into the U.S. market. Offering window cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing and gutter cleaning services, the new franchise is embracing the innovation leveraged at Elite Window Cleaning to bring a safer, more efficient home services model to the States.

Elite Window Cleaning was launched over a decade ago with a bucket, borrowed car and big plans to revolutionize the industry. Now, Sparkle Squad is leveraging the same water-fed carbon pole technology and streamlined booking processes used at Elite Window Cleaning to bring a better window cleaning and home beautification experience to the untapped U.S. market.

How Many Sparkle Squad Locations Are There?

Sparkle Squad is newly launching in the U.S., so there are no established locations yet. However, it is modeled after the extremely successful Elite Window Cleaning Canadian window cleaning franchise. There is serious proof of concept and evidence that the model can be replicated, but franchisees with Sparkle Squad have the advantage of accessing a wide-open U.S. market before the concept takes off in the country.

As it launches, the team notes that it is not ruling out any markets and will not be identifying specific development goals as to not cap the potential of the brand and its growth. Because of the unique model, who Sparkle Squad grows with is equally important as where it grows.

What Is the Sparkle Squad Business Model?

Sparkle Squad is modernizing the window cleaning and exterior care industry with a tech-forward approach. Leveraging carbon fiber water-fed poles, Sparkle Squad teams eliminate the need for (and risk associated with) ladders, buckets and squeegees. As such, local owners have a wider hiring pool and can focus on building a team that is focused on customer service instead of just brute strength.

While the business focuses on window cleaning, it is also equipped to do gutter cleaning, pressure washing and soft washing and has additional service offerings in the works.

The franchisor has also streamlined the customer experience in terms of booking, quoting, appointment reminders and day-of service — a key differentiator in the home services market. A call center converts inquiries and schedules appointments for all owners, and an online booking process allows prospective customers to view a-la-carte service offerings with transparent pricing that can be booked from a mobile device, tablet or computer. Once booked, customers receive a confirmation and reminder, then the Squad shows up to take care of work safely and efficiently.

How Much Can Sparkle Squad Franchise Owners Make?

As a franchise system, Sparkle Squad does not publicly disclose financial performance representations or return-on-investment (ROI) data. Earnings can vary greatly, depending on location and management. Potential franchisees should carefully review the franchise disclosure document (FDD) and speak with existing franchisees to better understand the potential financial performance.
