In addition to opening their first franchise, Bran Stern and Nicole Wiese started their lives together as husband and wife a month before they brought <a href="http://www.twomenandatruckfranchising.com/home?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-success-two-men-and-a-truck-2297" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TWO MEN AND A TRUCK*&#174;</a> to a critical Northeast market: Boston. Brian Stern&#8217;s nine-year history with the system began after he graduated high school and took a summer job with the <a href="http://twomenandatruck.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=franchisee-success-two-men-and-a-truck-2297" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&#174;</a> St. Louis franchise. This franchise is one of several owned by John and Jason Judson, successful franchisees within the system. At the beginning of his career, Stern&#8217;s responsibilities included manual labor, which allowed him to demonstrate and ultimately prove his persistence and patience. After a year as a mover, he was promoted to a driver position. One year later, he became a manager, more formally launching his career with the company. The management position led him to relocate to Indianapolis, which also allowed him to create more of a rapport with the Judson family. In 2008, when the Indianapolis location was sold, Stern moved back to St. Louis to continue the success he built years prior. During his time in St. Louis, Stern played in a sand volleyball league where he was introduced to Nicole Wiese. While Nicole studied education at Harris Stowe State University, she also worked as a receptionist and doctor&#8217;s assistant at Wright Vision. After a year and a half together, Stern was offered an opportunity to assist with the expansion of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&#174; in Chicago. In the months leading up to the move, Stern asked Wiese if she wanted to join him. Unsurprisingly, Wiese accepted and acquired a job with Sunglass Hut, a partner of Wright Vision. After witnessing the rapid growth Stern was experiencing at the Chicago TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&#174; locations, Wiese came on board as a part-time bookkeeper and office manager, where she wore many hats and quickly evolved into an entrepreneur in her own right. Learning how to run, operate, and represent a successful business, Wiese was originally brought on as a bookkeeper and grew into an office management position alongside Stern. After many years together, Stern proposed to Wiese in December 2013. Over a span of four years and playing a large hand in TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&#174; Chicago&#8217;s staggering growth, the newly engaged couple began discussing potential areas to grow the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&#174; brand. After careful consideration and discussions with his business partners, Joel Trost, Jason Judson and John Judson, Stern and Wiese made the decision to join the successful multi-unit team, and become the first TWO MEN AND A TRUCK&#174; franchisees to enter Boston. The business partners have established success is multiple territories throughout the country. John and Jason Judson hold three territories in Utah and all of St. Louis, Miss., and John Judson and Joel Trost are partnered on seven agreements throughout Illinois.
