Froot Loops Mini Donuts Make Return at Carl's Jr. and Hardee's

The snack sold out within weeks when it first debuted.

Participating Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants are bringing back the Froot Loops Mini Donuts for a limited time, according to a USA Today report.

The sweet treats will be offered at Hardee’s beginning Feb. 25 and at Carl’s Jr. starting on Feb. 27, according to the article.

The Froot Loops Mini Donuts should prove to be a nice business boost for the two franchise chains. The article noted that the snack first debuted in August of 2018 and sold out within a matter of weeks.

Owen Klein, the vice president of global culinary innovation of CKE Restaurants, which is the parent company of both Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr., said in a statement that “We know our fans craved these nostalgic treats, and we’re thrilled to bring this fun innovation back to our menu this spring,” according to the article.
