Dr. Jean Griswold started Griswold Home Care in 1982 as the first non-medical home care franchise in the U.S. She had been diagnosed 12 years prior with multiple sclerosis (MS). At age 51, while using a wheelchair, she understood all too well the desire for adults with disabilities, illness and injuries to remain comfortably at home while receiving care.&nbsp;Today, the Griswold brand has grown to more than 170 territories in 30 states.
