PHILADELPHIA, PA – Griswold, the revered name in non-medical home care franchises, hosted its annual franchise conference from October 17-20 at the Drexelbrook Event Center in Pennsylvania, bringing together a vibrant community of owners, directors, key staff members, home office staff, board members and vendor partners to celebrate the ethos of “Live Assured” and to fortify the roadmap for future endeavors.

“This year, we gathered back at our roots in Philadelphia to reignite the spirit of Griswold — a spirit synonymous with care, compassion and assurance,” said Michael Slupecki, CEO of Griswold. “It was an enriching experience that not only celebrated the achievements of our family of franchises but also laid a strong foundation for the collaborative journey ahead.”

The conference was underpinned by Griswold’s enduring promise: Live Assured, a philosophy that promotes a nurturing environment for clients, families, caregivers, employees and the community at large.

Attendees delved into a myriad of sessions aimed at bolstering key operational facets of the franchise. Sessions covered a gamut of crucial topics including caregiver recruitment and retention strategies, leveraging data and analytics to drive business forward and unraveling the digital marketing and advertising blueprint for 2024.

Awards were also bestowed upon high-performing franchisees in a gala event, recognizing their exemplary contributions and aligning with Griswold’s culture of care and assurance. This year’s awards and winners included:

  • The Diamond Award
    • Recognizes significant growth and consistency over multiple years by doubling revenue over the prior two years and meeting a revenue threshold.

Another one of the cornerstone achievements celebrated at the conference was the substantial fundraising for the non-profit organization The Jean Griswold Foundation, with over $120,000 raised so far this year for scholarships that will help caregivers advance their careers in the care field through educational opportunities. A heartfelt speech by Casey Hart, one caregiver scholarship winner, was a poignant reminder of the profound impact of the Griswold community.

“Each scholarship awarded is a testament to the legacy of care and understanding that Jean Griswold championed,” said Slupecki. “There wasn’t a dry eye in the room after Casey’s speech — every member of the Griswold family is so proud to help caregivers like her achieve their dreams and follow their passion for giving back.”

Looking ahead, Griswold is already buzzing with anticipation for its 2024 conference slated for August 7-9 in Chicago. The event is envisioned to be another significant milestone in Griswold's journey, where the franchise family will reconvene to share, learn and build upon the legacy of assurance that defines Griswold.

“As we reflect on the discussions, accolades and camaraderie we enjoyed at this year’s conference, it’s evident that the Griswold community is not just thriving, but evolving to meet the demands of tomorrow,” said Slupecki. “Our journey ahead is full of opportunity and it is clear all of our franchise owners are wholeheartedly committed to helping others Live Assured and making a lasting, positive impact on the communities they serve."
