Jersey Mike's Subs will be donating 100 percent of its sales to more than 100 local charities to wrap up its March "Month of Giving" fundraising campaign today. Designated as the brand's "Day of Giving", today marks its fourth year of giving back to the communities that the popular sandwich chain serve. “I would like to extend a personal invitation to come in and enjoy a Jersey Mike’s sub on Wednesday, March 26, our Day of Giving, when 100 percent of sales go to amazing charities throughout the country,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO, who started the company when he was only 17 years old.  “This year we hope to raise more than $2 million to support these local causes so we can bring hope to all those involved with the charities and make a difference in people’s lives.” Throughout March, customers have been invited to make donations at their local Jersey Mike's location’s designated charity partner. Last year’s “Month of Giving” initiative raised nearly $1.7 million for 86 different charities nationwide.
Since 2010, the franchise has raised nearly $7.5 million for local charities and have distributed more than 600,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
