Kroger to Co-Host Wellness Festival

Grocery chain The Kroger Co. is partnering with Inclusion Companies to host the first “Wellness Your Way” Festival, according to an Inclusion Companies press release.

The festival will take place October 4-7 in Cincinnati, Ohio, where Kroger was originally founded and has its headquarters. Events will take place at the Duke Energy Convention Center. Singer Jewel, who is also the founder of the wellness and mindfulness website Never Broken, is the festival’s co-founder, according to the press release.

The three-day event will feature activities for children, live music, cooking demonstrations, workout sessions, health counseling and speakers.

The festival is an extension of Kroger’s Wellness Your Way platform, which is aimed at helping customers adopt more healthy lifestyles.

"Kroger is excited to present the first Wellness Your Way Festival in America in our hometown," Kroger Health president Colleen Lindholz said in the press release. "Our vision for Wellness Your Way is to provide customers with a destination for helpful information about nutrition, medication, and lifestyle – everything they need to start living better and healthier, every day."
