Lee's Summit Journal: The Cleaning Authority Feeds Those in Need

The residential cleaning company celebrates national company initiative by getting involved at the local level.

Brian Greenwald's The Cleaning Authority in Lee's Summit is taking part in the national Harvest Food Drive and is also helping out a local food bank in the area called Lee's Summit Social Services. Greenwald says it's important to give back as a business owner in the community.

“It’s easy, inexpensive and our customers can be involved. It’s something our communities can embrace,” Greenwald told Lee's Summit Journal. He added that a lot of his employees are single parents who understand how it can be difficult for households to make ends meet.

The article mentions that the nationwide cleaning company collected over 120,000 pounds of food during the summer food drive and that last year, Brian's The Cleaning Authority collected around $4,000 worth of food for two food pantries in the area.
