News 4 Nashville: Lightbridge Academy Addresses the Growing Demand for Childcare
The leading child care and early education franchise is experiencing an increase in demand as the Nashville population continues to increase.
A segment on News 4 Nashville detailed the demand for child care across the state. Child care centers are struggling to find workers, and some child care providers are also seeing extremely long waitlists for incoming children.
Nashville’s Lightbridge Academy® has never before seen such a huge need. Local Lightbridge Academy franchisee Eilleen Johnson decided to open her business after experiencing the struggle firsthand.
“There were a couple of child care centers that we looked at that had a waiting list of about six months to a year,” said Johnson. “We just kind of looked at it like, ‘Wow, this is something the community needs.’”
