Keap was founded in 2001 by brothers Scott and Eric Martineau and now CEO Clate Mask in Mesa, Arizona. Upon its inception, the brand was initially known as eNovasys before becoming Infusionsoft in 2003. By 2009, the company had grown to 130 employees, roughly 6,000 customers and $17.5 million in revenue. In 2013, Keap received more than $54 million in venture capital from Goldman Sachs. In January 2019, the company rebranded to Keap under the leadership of Mask. Now, in September 2023, Keap boasts more than 31,000 customers and over 205K users.

According to Keap’s website, the brand’s true mission is to “empower entrepreneurs by simplifying growth.” The brand remains headquartered in Arizona.
