Chris Frank has always dreamed of owning his own restaurant, and now that dream has become a reality.
Frank, 40, got his MBA at Indiana University in 2011, and after saving up as much money as he could, an inheritance from his father, and finding a bank that believed in him and his restaurant work experience, he’s opened
MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes* in Noblesville, Indiana.
“I wanted to have a restaurant of my own for a long, long time,” he told Indianapolis Star. And, he’s part of trend of an increasing number of franchise restaurants coming to the area.
Quick-service restaurants “will remain among the leaders of the franchise sector in employment growth in 2015, with a 3.2 percent gain,” IHS reported to the franchise association. “Improving employment and wage growth in the overall economy is particularly good for the (quick-service restaurant) industry, as time for meals becomes crunched with more people working and spending time commuting.”

MOOYAH as his first restaurant business. He was attracted to the brand because of the culture that welcomed families and treated employees like a family. Frank also wanted to be associated with a franchisor that offered training and the flexibility to make changes to fit the community.
