Nation's Restaurant News: Taco Bell to Bring Back Naked Chicken Chalupa After a Year Hiatus

The brand is bringing back the old favorite as part of its continuing strategy to rotate limited-time offerings throughout the year.

Fans of Taco Bell's Naked Chicken Chalupa are in luck.

According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, the brand is reintroducing the item in Taco Bell locations across the nation this week. The franchise will also be offering a spicy twist on the dish with the launch of the Wilder Naked Chicken Chalupa.

The brand has been focused on rotating limited-time offerings throughout the year. The strategy has proven beneficial for sales, especially with the success of the recent Nacho Fries offering. Other recent promotions include Naked Chicken Chips and Crispy Chicken Quesadilla.

The Naked Chicken Chalupa was initially available for just over one month in early 2017. It features a taco shell made out of fried chicken. The item will be priced at $2.99.
