Nekter Juice Bar Partners With Watermelon Farmers

Nekter Juice Bar is making sure its customers are getting their watermelon fix by partnering with regional farmers.

As part of its Farm-to-Cup initiative, the juice chain is sourcing watermelons from regional farms. The watermelon connection will help the chain offer seasonal drinks to customers. The farms include Borders Melon in Edinburg, Texas, Melon 1 in Barnwell, South Carolina and Van Groningen & Sons in Manteca, California.

Nekter CEO Steve Schulze said in a statement that the program will ensure freshness.

“Our new Farm-to-Cup program ensures that our watermelon — in fact, all of our produce — is the best and freshest that it can be,” he said.
