Duncan Fulton will oversee strategic growth for the multi-brand parent company.
Restaurant Brands International (RBI) has a new chief corporate officer.
The parent company of Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons has appointed Duncan Fulton to the executive-level position, according to a report by Nation’s Restaurant News.
Fulton most recently served as the president of FGL Sports, a sports retailing company whose franchise division operates more than 200 stores and employs more than 5,000 team members, according to the company’s website.
In a press release, RBI CEO Daniel Schwartz said Fulton’s high-level experience with FGL makes him well-equipped for the new role.
"Duncan has an impressive track record as a retail, agency and government executive, including being widely recognized for driving innovation and speed of execution in all his previous roles,” Schwartz said in the release. “His skills as a brand leader, digital innovator, communicator and his experience running a retail network and working closely with franchisees will be of great benefit to RBI and our growth agenda in the coming years.”
