Pizza Marketplace: Oath Pizza Readies for Growth
The better-for-you pizza concept’s CEO and CMO discuss how the brand is preparing for growth with its simple and successful business model.
In an interview with Pizza Marketplace, Oath Pizza CEO Drew Kellogg and CMO Stacie Colburn Hayes discuss how they’re using their experience to ready the Nantucket-born “better-for-you” pizza concept for national growth.
Oath Pizza, which began franchising in 2017, has locations across the Northeast seaboard ranging from Washington DC to Boston, and according to Hayes, the brand is targeting this region for immediate expansion. The brand has received inquiries from South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, and Florida and is looking for fellow pizza enthusiasts to join the franchise system. Oath Pizza differentiates itself from other pizza concepts by focusing on healthy ingredients and due to its simple model.
“Oath is a unique brand and a unique franchise opportunity because it's a very simple operation. We can go into locations other franchises cannot. We have a very small footprint requirement,” said Hayes. “Our back-of-the-house operations don't require gas, which is black iron infrastructure, or hooded exhaust, and so we can be built for a much smaller investment than other franchise opportunities.”
Hayes and Kellogg also discussed how Oath Pizza has implemented a digital infrastructure to see success throughout the pandemic.
