Chain Store Age: Paris Baguette and CBRE in Deal for Significant Expansion
The global bakery café franchise names CBRE as the exclusive agent for U.S. and Canada expansion program.
According to a recent article from Chain Store Age, Paris Baguette, the global bakery café franchise, and commercial real estate conglomerate CBRE have joined forces to open 30 locations in 20 crucial markets throughout the remainder of the year, with a target goal to grow to 1,000 new cafes in the next decade.
Paris Baguette and CBRE are looking to target prime locations with 2,000 to 3,200 square feet of first-class real estate with at least 30 feet of frontage.
“We will apply our expertise and vast market knowledge to assist Paris Baguette in its efforts to expand its presence and enhance its position as one of the most recognizable bakery and café shops in the market,” said CBRE’s Joseph AmecAngelo who has already worked with the brand on flagship leases in Florida and Toronto. “CBRE will work closely with the Paris Baguette real estate team to strategically grow the company’s store base in highly defined and targeted areas in all major U.S. and Canadian cities.”
