Paris Baguette is poised for expansion as it prepares to open two bakery cafés in Los Angeles. David and Heidi Lee are the franchisees behind both locations, which opened in Fall 2021.

“We are excited to bring additional Paris Baguette locations to Los Angeles,” said the Lees. “We hope to bring the joy that is the brand to our customers while introducing them to a bakery cafe concept that prides itself on high-quality food and service.”

The Paris Baguette locations owned by the Lees are at 730 E. Imperial Highway in Brea, California and at 301 S. Glendora Avenue in West Covina, California. The opening of the two new locations brings the total number of Paris Baguette’s franchises to 19 in the Los Angeles metro area, with room for at least 5 more.

With Los Angeles’ position as a world center of business, international trade, entertainment, culture, media, technology and education, the City of Angels shows no lack of new customer reach.

Forbes reported that the gross metro product for the Los Angeles metro area is more than $794 billion, showing that there is plenty of money to be made in one of the country’s most populated regions — one with over 10 million residents.

“The Paris Baguette brand is eager to grow in Los Angeles and we believe the area is filled with potential,” said Mark Mele, Paris Baguette chief development officer. “We've had tremendous success with our existing locations in the market, and we're so excited to add two more. People crave food brands that ignite all the senses and ultimately bring them great joy. In order to get to 1,000 locations, we have to give the guest something they are not used to in their communities. We are confident we can fill that gap with our elevated neighborhood bakery café concept.”

Currently, Paris Baguette has more than 4,000 units around the world, with 100 of those in the U.S. With growth opportunities for the brand across several markets, Paris Baguette has set an ambitious goal to reach 1,000 locations in the U.S.

The Paris Baguette brand aims to spread joy among its employees and loyal fan base through its cakes, pastries, coffees, breads and other French-inspired bakery café fare.

The total investment to franchise with Paris Baguette ranges from $528,270 and $1,638,554, including a $50,000 franchise fee. For more information, please visit: https://parisbaguette.com/franchising/.
