QSR: Einstein Bros. Joins No Kid Hungry to End Childhood Hunger

The bagel brand is offering a promotion to encourage customers to donate to the hunger-prevention charity

According to an article on qsr.com, Einstein Bros. Bagels is now offering a promotion to support No Kid Hungry, the charitable foundation that seeks to eradicate childhood hunger across the globe. The promotion, which is offered at participating Einstein Bros. locations across markets from April 11 through May 1, will offer coupons to customers who donate $2 or more to No Kid Hungry. Each coupon entitles the holder to a free bagel and smear with purchase, a buy-one-get-one-free egg sandwich deal and $3 off a Baker’s Dozen Box.

Each $2 donation can provide meals for 20 children in need, and Einstein Bros. Bagels is hoping to raise funds for 2.5 million meals. With more than 700 locations across 40 states and the District of Columbia, the franchise is a high-profile and widely accessible partner for No Kid Hungry.

As quoted in QSR, Einstein Bros. Bagels SVP of Marketing, Product and Innovation said, “thanks to the overwhelming support from our loyal guests who share our mission to brighten the outlook of those in need, we surpassed our goal of donating one million meals in just four days last year. We are eager to make an even bigger impact this year by providing at least 2.5 million healthy meals for hungry kids over the course of our campaign.”
