QSR Magazine: If a 16 Beats a 1 in the NCAAs, Lunch is on Little Caesars
Pizza lovers will be cheering for upsets on March 16 and 17.
Basketball fans could score big on April 3 if the unthinkable happens. According to a recent QSR Magazine article, if any #16-seeded team beats a #1-seeded team in this year’s NCAA college men’s basketball championship, Little Caesars will be offering free lunch to customers.
"If a crazy thing happens and there's an upset, it'll be a big score for pizza lovers," says Ed Gleich, senior vice president of global marketing, Little Caesars. "And, if the number-ones prevail, fans can still catch a great deal at Little Caesars with our high quality, HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo for just $5. Either way, customers win!"
Customers can redeem the offer of a free HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo if they mention it at the counter at participating locations from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. if a #16-seeded team pulls off an upset.
