Colorado Business Magazine: How This Colorado Firm Developed Its Approach to Franchising
Raintree CEO Brent Dowling shared his perspective on how to make the franchise model work for emerging concepts in a recent interview with Colorado Business Magazine.
Colorado Business Magazine—Denver-based Raintree was founded on the idea that growing brands should have a lower barrier of entry to break into the franchising space beyond the traditional broker model. In a recent interview with Colorado Business Magazine, Raintree CEO Brent Dowling detailed how he set out to disrupt franchise growth with Raintree, as well as his tips for scaling effectively using a franchise model.
Since its founding, Raintree has helped a number of brands in its own backyard achieve incredible growth, including Colorado-based Wag ‘N’ Wash, Teriyaki Madness, Rush Bowls, Cheba Hut and Footprints Floors.
“There’s a lot of franchise brands starting out in Colorado and it’s becoming, in my opinion, a little bit of a franchise hub,” Dowling told Colorado Business Magazine. “Folks around the rest of the country really find these Colorado-born brands appealing that's what's allowing our business to thrive.”
