The recent acquirement comes on the heels of Reserve receiving a strategic investment from beverage company <a href="http://www.diageo.com/en-us/Pages/default.aspx?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=reserve-acquires-payment-app-dash-4153" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Diageo</a>.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Dash uses proprietary API technology to connect consumer&#8217;s mobile device with legacy restaurant and bar point of sale (POS) systems. Users are able to use the app to split or pay the bill and receive a receipt from more than 250 restaurants and bars in the U.S. Reserve will be phasing out the Dash app and integrating the technology into their own systems.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&#8220;As Reserve pushes more deeply into the payment space, POS integration will be an important way to help restaurants understand their diners and provide exceptional hospitality to Reserve guests.
