Restaurant Business: Pita Pit Shares Best Hiring Practices

The fast casual giant shares their hiring strategy for attracting, and keeping, top talent.

 In today's job market, many restaurant brands have hiring as a top of mind priority. 
 
“I’m in charge of 19 locations,” said Courtney Beach, director of the corporate store division for Pita Pit. “Eighteen of my 19 managers would say hiring is their biggest problem.”
 
In order to attract and onboard the best candidates, Pita Pit has sped up its hiring process and tries to move from the interview to hiring process within one to two days. 
 
"Five years ago, Pita Pit operators would’ve conducted at least two rounds of interviews," Beach told Restaurant Business. "Now, corporate is telling franchisees to hire promising candidates on the spot and get them onto the next schedule."
