Right at Home Cleveland Caregiver Tansey Shepherd received the national ClearCare Caregiver Hero Award.

Tansey was nominated by Right at Home Cleveland Franchisee Shalom Plotkin because of her outstanding work with one of her clients.

“Our client went from being 88 pounds and so weak that she couldn’t speak to not only having a conversation, but also going to the Cleveland Museum of Art on her birthday. She’s well over 100 pounds now.” Plotkin told The Cleveland Jewish News.

When Shepherd found out she was receiving the award among the 50 nominees nationwide, she was at a loss for words.

“I love my field. I love working with the residents and the elderly. That’s my passion. I wouldn’t change it for the world,” Shepherd told The Cleveland Jewish News.
