Provider Magazine: Right at Home Partners with Philips to Offer In-Home Monitoring Services for Seniors

The Well-Being monitoring service and Routine Check-Ins allow seniors to maintain independence in their homes.

Right at Home has introduced a pilot partnership with Philips, which offers in-home monitoring services to its clients. The company offers a Well-Being Monitoring service as well as Routine Check-Ins.

“The Well-Being Monitoring consists of small sensors placed in key areas of the home based on a client’s normal activity," Right at Home Vice President of Franchise Business Solutions Mike Flair told Provider Magazine. "When changes in pattern are examined, Right at Home will contact the client for a well-being check.”

More clients are currently utilizing the Well-Being services, but Routine Check-Ins are also popular. They allow for virtual visits with clients via tablets.

The monitoring services allow for seniors to maintain some semblance of independence within their homes, and the response has been positive according to Flair.
