Right at Home franchise owner, Valerie Syzmanski, is taking the reigns as the first central Wisconsin franchisee with her recent office opening in Wausau. Syzmanski’s services started on Oct.5, offering 24/7 in-home care for the elderly and seniors with disabilities.

“We don’t sell a product, but personal relationships. We take care of the hard work so that family members can be family members and not have to turn into personal caregivers,” Syzmanski told the Wausau Daily Herald. “You’re only going to see a greater need for a business like this because the population is there, people are living longer, and there’s a need. Right at Home can fill that need.”

According to Syzmanski, caregivers go through a matching process based on location and prior experience to ensure that clients are provided the best possible service. Their responsibilities include everything from helping with everyday tasks, like cooking, to simply spending time with a client.
