Right at Home, the leading in-home caregiving franchise, looks to expand its presence in the Midwest as the brand seeks potential candidates in Akron, Ohio.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of people 65 and older in the United States is expected to increase to 55 million in 2020, to 70 million by 2030, and to 88.5 million – or 20 percent of the population – in 2050. As the baby boomer generation continues to age, the personal service industry, specifically home health care, continues to be one of the fastest growing businesses right now. With flexible scheduling, Right at Home provides top of the line care, whether seniors need a little or a lot.

“Every customer we deal with gets the best care possible and we take great pride in providing that,” said Right at Home Chief Development Officer Eric Little. “We have some of the best franchisees in the industry who will be able to help our customers.”

Little is excited to be expanding the brand’s presence in Akron, but this is not the first foray for Right at Home into the Midwest or Ohio. Right at Home opened a location in Wausau, Wisconsin in October and also has several Ohio franchises, including operations in Mason, Canton, Beachwood and Middleburg Heights. The planned Akron expansion is a big step for the brand as they are nearing reaching having started their 500th franchise.

“At Right at Home, we are a family and we welcome new franchisees with open arms,” Little said. “We look for franchisees that will bring new ideas to the table and we want them to feel comfortable with our very open corporate culture. Our Akron franchisee expectations will be no different.”
