The Collegeville Way: Right At Home Franchisees Share Passion For Helping Others
A local couple brings in-home care to Pennsylvania families in need of a helping hand.
Steve and Christina Gettins purchased the Right at Home territory in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania in September of 2015. The two recently expanded their territory to cover Lower Banks and Western Montgomery Counties.
“Christina and I have always dreamed of owning our own business and wanted to pursue our dream doing something that had the opportunity to touch the community,” said Steve Gettins.
Steve and Christina decided to join Right at Home after experiencing the difficulty of caring for their own loved ones. Steve’s father had liver cancer and Christina cared for her grandfather for several years when he fell ill.
“I think if I could have kept him home with me, he would have had a better quality of life in those final months,” Christina said. “I think a service like Right at Home really speaks to people who are going through the same experience Steve and I did with our families.”
The couple has helped Right at Home near their 500th location worldwide with two other territory openings in Virginia and the brand is ecstatic to welcome the Gettins’ to the Right at Home family.
