Tribune Star: Right at Home to Open in Terre Haute, Indiana
Franchisees Nancy and Garrard are opening their own franchise to serve the elderly population.
Nancy and Brian Garrard are opening a Right at Home franchise in Terre Haute to serve the country's growing senior population.
"I grew up in a family of nurses," Nancy Garrard told the Tribune Star reporter. "My mom in February will have been a nurse for 50 years. But also, Brian lost his father in December 2008 and realized that people need assistance and service. Sometimes family members are not able to do that."
The senior-care franchise was founded in 1995 in Omaha, Neb.
"Right at Home is a global system, with operations in nine countries and the U.S. has close to 500 franchise locations," Eric Martin, senior director of franchise development with Right at Home told the reporter. "We have owners in Indiana in Indianapolis, Carmel, Anderson and Valparaiso."
