New Scout & Molly’s franchisees Olivia Huvane and Amy Gray are bringing a shared dream to life as they leverage their uniquely complimentary backgrounds and skill sets to open their first Scout & Molly’s franchise.

Scout & Molly’s offers unique fashion items, and is devoid from "cookie-cutter fashion," fashion blog FairfieldIsta reported. Owners Amy Gray and Olivia Huvane have curated each item to appeal to Fairfield County women, bringing affordable, on-trend apparel and accessories to the boutique that fill a void in the marketplace. In addition to familiar brands like Plenty by Tracy Reese and Sanctuary, they’ve filled the store with unique pieces by lesser-known brands such as Finders Keepers and Show Me Your MuMu.

“The philosophy behind the brand is that shopping should be fun and stress-free. We want our customers to come into our stores and feel like they are in their best friend’s closet. We strive to offer a unique shopping experience where all ages, body types, and budgets feel comfortable and know they can come in and find something that makes them feel unique and beautiful,” the pair told FairfieldIsta.

Huvane plans to leverage her background in event production to plan and host an eventful, fun-filled grand opening event, planned for Saturday, September 19. The day-long event will include activities, giveaways, prizes and special discounts.

“The opening of our first location has truly been a labor of love and a learning experience throughout our nine month process,” Gray and Huvane said. “After we feel we are in a good groove with New Canaan, we will start searching for our second location. Oh–and a relaxing tropical vacation sounds pretty appealing right now as well!”
