Farmington, MI — Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services, a franchisor with 125 franchise partners and 260 territories nationwide, has grown rapidly in recent years by building a workforce of talented caregivers who create meaningful relationships with their senior care clients  and families. Now, the brand is expanding in Michigan with their newest location that will serve communities in Farmington, Farmington Hills, Novi, Walled Lake and Wixom.

With over two decades of experience of helping people in the health insurance industry, Sheila Samples was seeking a way to help care for the needs of an overlooked segment of our society. Alongside her husband, Joseph Samples, they both found the inspiration for caregiving by taking care of  their parents. This experience showed them the need for dependable and compassionate caregiving services in their own community of Farmington Hills, Michigan. Sheila and Joseph began seeking out business opportunities that would align with their mission, passion and values.  They then discovered Seniors Helping Seniors, the at-home non-medical senior care franchise.

“We wanted to make a difference, not only for those who needed care but also for our community by creating jobs,” said Sheila Samples. “When we learned about Seniors Helping Seniors, it felt like the perfect fit and like something we could really get behind.”  We saw this as a dual benefit for the senior community.

In 2022, the brand built relationships with 33 new franchise owners, which equated to 73 new territories granted. Seniors Helping Seniors® system had a significant increase in the number of clients that they serve across the country.

The Seniors Helping Seniors® franchise stands out from other brands in the elder care space in part through its commitment to hiring senior caregivers, which provides employment opportunities for seniors and better cultivates meaningful relationships between caregivers and care receivers.

“We’ve become a leader in this industry by prioritizing the best possible care for our seniors, and that means partnering with only the most passionate and hard-working franchisees,” said Seniors Helping Seniors® President Namrata Yocom-Jan. “That’s exactly what we’ve found with the Samples, who are well-equipped to provide unparalleled in-home services to those in need throughout Farmington.”
