Users of the popular social media platform Snapchat will now have the opportunity to shop for products on Amazon directly through the app&rsquo;s camera, parent company <a href="https://www.snap.com/en-US/news/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=snapchat-amazon-team-up-to-begin-testing-image-based-shopping-2707938" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Snap Inc. announced in a blog post</a>. 

The feature, which is currently in a slow rollout phase, lets users capture a product or barcode, prompting a product card to pop up on-screen that when clicked, redirects to the Amazon app or website to complete the purchase.

By including the word ‘Rib’ in the name of the sandwich, McDonald's knowingly markets the sandwich in a way that deceives reasonable consumers, who reasonably (but mistakenly) believe that a product named the 'McRib' will include at least some meaningful quantity of actual pork rib meat, which commands a premium price on the market," the lawsuit said.
