“The melt of your cheese brought me to my knees,” television star Darren Criss croons to his true love, Nacho Fries, in Taco Bell’s latest big-budget fake movie trailer.

The trailer for “Chasing Gold” was released yesterday by fictional movie studio Live Más Productions to announce the return of Taco Bell's wildly popular Nacho Fries. Criss lends veritable star power to the ad, as he's the former star of the musical show “Glee” and “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story,” the latter of which landed Criss a Best Actor Emmy last year.

Taco Bell first launched Nacho Fries in late January 2018 on its Dollar Cravings menu, according to Nation’s Restaurant News. The LTO was a major success, selling more than 53 million orders at 7,000 restaurants in its first five weeks. At a $1.29 price point, this is the fourth time that Taco Bell will again offer the 2019 MenuMasters winner.
