Video production by Whirled Creative
Google has already made us all cry its Chrome and search ads, and you all might be close to tears after watching the search company’s Zeitgeist 2012 video, which compiles the most popular search terms of the year. With all the bad things going on in the world, a powerful video like this reminds us that we humans can also do some really great things.
3. The Guardian, "Three Little Pigs"
Agency: BBH
Director: Ringan Ledwidge, Rattling Stick
Smart, witty, hilarious, it’s everything and nothing you’d expect from The Guardian.
2. Chrysler, “Halftime in America”
Agency: Wieden+Kennedy
Director: David Gordon Green, Chelsea Pictures
It’s rare that something like a commercial can cause Super Bowl parties to go completely silent, but that’s exactly what happed in living rooms around the country when Chrysler’s “Halftime in America” ad came on during the big game. “This country can’t be knocked out with one punch. We get right back up again and when we do the world’s gonna hear the roar of our engines.” Yeahhhhh, it’s a great ad. View the entire campaign here.
1. Procter & Gamble, "Best Job"
Agency: Wieden+Kennedy
Director: Alejandro González Iñárritu, Anonymous Content
Wieden+Kennedy killed it this year. The firm’s Procter & Gamble ad for the Olympics pretty much speaks for itself. Pass the tissues please.
