TruBlue Home Service Ally and its franchise network recently gathered in the vibrant city of New Orleans for its annual conference to celebrate the brand’s recent achievements and to chart the course for future success. The event was not only a testament to TruBlue’s remarkable growth but also an opportunity to acknowledge the exceptional contributions of its franchisees.

To kick off the proceedings, several awards were presented to individuals and teams who have exemplified excellence and commitment to the brand’s values. Among the honorees were:

The conference also underscored TruBlue's impressive expansion throughout 2023, with the addition of 22 new owners, including three transfers, extending the brand's reach across 95 territories in 28 states. Such growth is indicative of TruBlue’s increasing influence in the home care and modifications sector, particularly among seniors and busy families seeking reliable and comprehensive home service solutions.

Another focal point of the event was the celebration of TruBlue's systemwide revenue growth, which has seen a 34% increase from 2021 to 2023, highlighting the brand's successful strategies and the robust demand for its services.

Looking back at what the brand accomplished during 2023, it was also a year of significant initiatives aimed at strengthening the brand and enhancing its services. Key developments included the rebranding to TruBlue Home Service Ally, the creation and distribution of the TruBlue Brand Book and the implementation of new dynamic micro-local websites. These digital assets and vendor consolidation efforts are part of a broader strategy to modernize and streamline the brand's online presence and operational efficiency.

TruBlue has developed strategic partnerships with organizations like Comfort Keepers and ComForCare, emphasizing the importance of collaboration within the senior care and home maintenance and modifications industries. Moreover, the addition of CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist) certification as a requirement for new owners underscores TruBlue’s commitment to professionalism and expertise in catering to the needs of the aging population.

Further innovations, such as the beta testing of a new maintenance program, the enhancement of training materials and the institution of the Fast Start Program demonstrate TruBlue’s dedication to continuous improvement and franchisee support.

“We had some great sessions on how to develop the business and become the authority on aging in place,” Fitzgerald said. “We're also engaging with senior care providers to support a comprehensive approach to aging in place. This includes the eagerly anticipated new maintenance program, as well as enhancements to our website, fresh marketing strategies, and additional initiatives.”

According to Fitzgerald, all of these initiatives are designed to accelerate growth and ensure that franchisees are well-prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities of the home service market. “Overall, this was the best franchise conference that we’ve had so far,” he said. “But what really made it exciting was how the franchisees embraced everything we had to show them and shared in our excitement. That is what made it the best one yet.”

As TruBlue Home Service Ally moves forward, the foundation laid by the 2023 initiatives and the collaborative spirit celebrated at the New Orleans conference will set the stage for continued growth and success.
