Twitter has released a new feature aptly named TweetDeck Teams.

The new option is a solution to help users share Twitter accounts and works by allowing users to delegate who they want access to their TweetDecks without releasing sensitive login information. In order to maintain privacy, TweetDeck Teams applies two types of roles to access an account - admin and contributor. As the admin, the user has the password information and can tweet from the account, add and remove contributors and view the team. Under contributor status, users can tweet from the account but cannot access the account outside of TweetDeck Teams and cannot add or remove other contributors.

The new feature is being rolled out today for web, Chrome and Windows.
